PHENOMENON OF MATHEMATICAL ANXIETY IN EDUCATION

The article provides an overview of publications devoted to the study of mathematical anxiety in education. Theoretical foundations of interdisciplinary research into mathematical anxiety are discussed in the context of cognitive psychology and educational psychology. The results of research into the relationship between mathematical anxiety, self-efficacy, self-regulation and other variables are discussed. The review demonstrates the importance and relevance of research into mathematical anxiety.
